1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, or using the MMY.BIO website, tools, and SaaS dashboard (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms") and all applicable laws and regulations.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease using the Services. We reserve the right to review and modify these Terms at our sole discretion. Any changes will be published directly on this page, and your continued use of the Services after revisions constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
2. Account Registration and Security
To access the creator dashboard and publish your custom bio page, you must register for an account.
- Clerk Authentication: Account creation and secure authentication are powered by Clerk. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and keep it updated.
- Security responsibility: You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. You are fully responsible for all activities, custom link edits, and invoices sent under your account.
- Notification: You must immediately notify us at [email protected] if you discover or suspect any unauthorized access or breach of security of your account.
3. User Content and Public Profiles
MMY.BIO allows you to customize a public profile and list links, text, images, videos, and billing features (collectively, "User Content").
- Ownership: You retain all ownership rights to your User Content. We do not claim ownership of the assets you upload.
- License to MMY.BIO: By submitting or publishing User Content on mmy.bio, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and format your content for the sole purpose of rendering your public bio page.
- Accuracy: You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary licenses for all content you publish, and that your links do not direct visitors to false, malicious, or deceptive destinations.
4. Prohibited Uses and Abuse Reporting
We are dedicated to maintaining a safe platform for creators and visitors. You agree not to use MMY.BIO to publish, link to, or promote:
- Illegal Activities: Content or links violating any local, national, or international laws.
- Malware and Spam: Links that initiate hidden redirects, download executable files, trigger phishing forms, or contain viruses, adware, or spyware.
- Hate and Harassment: Content that encourages violence, discrimination, or severe abuse targeting individuals or groups.
- Deceptive Marketing: Using our link shortener or QR codes to deceive users about their destination or collect sensitive data fraudulently.
If you encounter any profile violating these rules, you can use the Report Abuse page or email [email protected] to request review and suspension.
5. Subscriptions, Fees, and Invoicing
MMY.BIO offers a free plan alongside premium SaaS upgrades. If you purchase paid add-ons or monthly/annual plans:
- Fees: You agree to pay the fees specified in the billing dashboard at the time of upgrade. All transactions are billed on a recurring subscription cycle.
- Contracts and Invoicing: If you use our invoicing and client agreement contract features to bill your clients, MMY.BIO acts strictly as a technical facilitator. We are not a party to agreements or contract disputes between you and your clients.
- Refund Policy: Paid subscription fees are non-refundable except as explicitly required by law or as determined in our sole discretion.
- Cancellation: You can cancel recurring plans at any time in your dashboard settings. Your premium benefits will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
The MMY.BIO name, branding, website design structure, layout templates, code, graphics, and SaaS dashboard assets are the exclusive property of MMY.BIO and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, copy layout styles, or distribute our design components without our prior written consent.
7. Termination of Service
We reserve the right, without notice and at our sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your account and block access to your public bio page if we determine that you have violated these Terms, engaged in prohibited activities, or caused potential harm to other users or visitors.
You may terminate your account at any time by selecting "Delete Account" in your profile dashboard settings. All database and KV entries related to your links will be purged in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. MMY.BIO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ACCURATE, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR MALICIOUS COMPONENTS, OR THAT YOUR BIO LINKS WILL ALWAYS REMAIN ONLINE OR RETRIEVABLE.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MMY.BIO OR ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF REVENUES, PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ENCOUNTERED BY YOU OR YOUR VISITORS ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THE SERVICES.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and your use of MMY.BIO shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operators of MMY.BIO are located, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the appropriate courts of the same jurisdiction.
